around town and admiring the fresh lilacs
and assortment of bulbs in our community.

One of my favorite things to do in this
area is to visit the visitor's centers.
The Grassy Hollow Visitor Center is 6
miles west of Wrightwood on Hwy 2. A
terrific way for families to experience
nature; the center has pictoral
displays, video presentations of forest
lore, and an extensive display of
preserved local animals, birds, and
Wrightwood reptiles. I always enjoy
the bird sanctuary they have off the
back porch and the short hikes local to
the parking lot.

information in the cabin to help you.
Relaxing in the cabin and on the front deck is a
